Amar'e Stoudemire, Foundation To Host Diversity University Gala At Florida International University As An Effort To Connect Jewish Community With African American Students

Amar'e Stoudemire, known to most as an NBA All-Star and Olympic Medalist, taps into his philantropic side by partnering with Hillel at Florida International University (FIU) to launch Diversity University ; a combined effort to connect African Americans in the diaspora with South Florida's Jewish Community for Israeli social justice.

Hillel the Jewish Student Life community at FIU, will host a week long event, fused with a basketball clinic, and discussions led by Stoudemire, a native of Florida and a believer in Judaism.

  
Additionally, on September 19th 2019, the organization will host the Hillel Rosh Hashana Gala with Amar'e Stoudemire Foundation, at the Jewish Museum of Florida, in Miami Beach. 

Stoudemire will be the Keynote Speaker.
